Hi, my name is Danielle and I live on the sunny central coast with three beautiful children and three grandchildren. I first came across the Birman as a child when my neighbour was breeding them in the early 80′s. I just thought how beautiful and affectionate they were. I was lucky enough on my 11th birthday she gave me one which had one brown paw and the most stunning blue eyes. I named her “muffin” and she followed me everywhere. I was even lucky enough to get presents from her, mostly cockroaches she would drop on my head in the middle of the night, she was so thoughtful. Back then we didn’t know to keep our cats indoors. One day I went down the beach for an afternoon surf and I hadn’t realised she followed me. Wasn’t til I was walking back I noticed her still body on the grass. I went home and called her name for over an hour. I finally accepted that was her and went back and collected her and buried her in our backyard. I have had other cats since then, but the love affair started again, when my eldest daughter was getting married and was deciding to add a cat to their family. We went to many shows and spoke with breeders. After she bought her beautiful pet home, it was then that I decided I would like to start on this very special venture of breeding. I was accepted into The Birman Cat Club of Australia and also registered with NSW CFA. Now that was back in 2007 where we started off with our first breeding girl Kriska Cyan Azure, and we have just grown from there.
